[1-7-2009] DART and Gorey Commuter services heavily delayed

DART services in both directions and Gorey Commuter services face delays of 20-25 minutes this morning due to a mechanical fault on a DART train at Booterstown.

Staff are attending the fault at present. However, it is expected the delays will continue throughout the morning peak.

IarnrÃ³d Ã‰ireann apologises for the inconvenience caused.

Delays are pushing up to 40 minutes currently in the case of the 6:00 from Gorey

A 22K train that I assume was the 0600 from Gorey crawled through Sandymount at 0824.
