The line was closed for over an hour from midday to about 13:15.

Information on the delay was not very forthcoming.

The 12:30 Maynooth Pearse departed Maynooth at 13:23 and was delayed also at Clonsilla for 10 minutes to let another inter-city train pass.

I didn't think it was possible for a commuter train to let an Intercity train pass on the Maynooth line, not even at Clonsilla, has this changed recently?

Its possible in Clonsilla now since the crossover was put in for the Navan stub
