Just thought i'd mention it. RTE has now split its news webiste into various subcategories including one dedicated to Rail News.

Just looked at to-day's Rail page on the revamped RTE site. All the items are old (some are 2 weeks old) and the only time reference is to the hour, not the date, so you have to click on the item just to see how old it is. From the look of things, at first glance there would seem to have been a rail strike immanent this Monday.

Maybe they use the same people who do the Irish Rail site.....

Where do you think they get most of their information?

The date thing is rather silly, because they have a 'thing' early in the morning and at the weekends when they have few stories for that day, that lists stories form the previous day, but clearly showing them as previous day.

I think this is the first time I've seen a picture of the non-pointy end http://dynimg.rte.ie/0000e99010dr.jpg
