A new low !!
 

This morning's 0515 from Athlone was delayed around Cherry Orchard
because the bloody thing was on fire !!!! These ancient trains that
we are forced to use everyday are at the best of times a health
hazzard due to the general dirt and untidy condition of the carriges
but how long is it before there is a serious incident involving one of
these way out of date trains ????

Question is what went on fire

Locomotive, generator van or coach and why. There have been a number of incidents of fire on trains in the Cherry Orchard area, long history of trespass and vandalism

That said vandals don't get up at 6am
