That's nice. So at 22.30 what combination of buses do you need to get from Clonsilla to Leixlip/Maynooth?

A slim one, by the time the 39 gets to City Centre, you may miss the last 66.

Try explaing to the bus driver iof the 67N at 1.00 or 3.00 am by the way with a pack of drunks behind you that your trian broke down and IE said BAC will take the ticket, see where you get.

That was strange, I was on the 8.00pm ex pearse this evening, got off at castleknock. Not a hint at that stage of any problems.

Did the 11.10pm ex pearse run? on time?


Was it the Clonsilla signal causing the problem?

I know IE have been slow in putting up the notices on the site but if one is out and about and planning on getting a train home then the net is of little use.

I think txt alerts for a particular line would be very helpful but would they be too expensive to implement?

Am I right in thinking that when it comes to signalling faults, Clonsilla is by far the most frequent location. Is there a reason for this? Is there anyone in IE asking this question and working on a proper solution, not just patching up each problem as it arises?
