Luas shut down to be completed by 1200, all displays now showing "Services Suspended"

All service finished around 14.30 and expected to resume tomorrow as normal.
Likely the first Intercity services will be restricted to 50 mph on all routes over the sections outlined above if not the full route tomorrow morning. |

I was surprised to see them running trains so late on Sligo. It's been pretty wild here in Longford since before midday. Really the clever thing to have done would have been to announce last night that the first two services each way would run to avoid stranding people. Certainly based on the information available last night, there was no way I was going anywhere today. |

Citing very poor rail conditions, Irish rail have cancelled : - 17:28 connolly maynooth - 18:10 connolly maynooth - 18:25, 18:55 and 19:25 docklands M3 parkway The 17:15 connolly longford was deferred to 17:28 and the 18:05 connolly longford will now call at all stops |
