[19/10/2012]-17.30 Cork-Heuston delayed & Waterford service delays
 

17.30 Cork-Heuston is delayed 40 minutes.

There is currently 20-25 minute delays on Waterfrod services because 3 coaches of the 16.35 failed in Carlow and had to be removed from the train. As a result it was approx 30 minutes late and is currently blocking a platform in Carlow proventing crossovers. I hope bus transfers were organised and packing passengers onto 3 coaches.

Expect reduced capacity on the 07.10 tomorrow as I can't see another set being sent down as it won't be overly busy.

I suspect the 0710 might just manage with a 3-car set, especially on a Saturday !
