Level Crossings on Sligo line

Does anybody know what's going on outside mullingar with the level crossings. Getting stopped each way up and down from Dublin every day. Has been going on for about two weeks now. They are between mgar and killucan I think .

It looks like they're automating the crossings. They did the one at The Downs last week and this week it's the two between Killucan and Hill of Down.

There was something in the local paper in Mullingar a while ago that this was going to take place. It doesn't really help that the trains are all over the place the last few weeks due to the flooding between Longford and Carrick.

Google Maps call it Annascannon, while OSI go for Annaskinnan. Take your pick.
