Aisle seat blocking and seats for bags

Anyone else noticed the phenomenon of commuters taking up the aisle seat and then in many cases parking their bags in the window seat?

Been several threads on this, http://www.railusers.ie/forum/showth...highlight=bags

Don't stand, don't ask 'is this seat free', say 'can you move your coat/bag etc'

It is a cultural problem, Irish people don't stand up for themselves, you have paid to sit.

The driver on today's 17:25 Dublin to Limerick made an announcement to tell people not to be taking up seats with bags - not that there was anyone standing, but fair play to him anyway.

I just move their bag and sit down if necessary. I've even dumped a suitcase down the aisle after an obnoxious British woman refused my polite request to move it herself.
