Everything seemed in order but it was lacking a tail light again attention to detail, a train should never have the wrong destination on rear since the drivers are supposed to check the tail lights. It careless

14.06 Connolly to Howth. Internal display (8612) insisted it was going to Bray and for the entire journey thought the next stop was Sutton. Rear destination said Bray as well but it could have been changed before I got out of the station.

Also, at Connolly the clocks on the platform displays suddenly went into fast forward and shot from 14.03 or 14.15 in about 2 minutes before jumping back to 14.04 and going back to normal. Very odd :D

Mark Gleeson 02-07-2006 12:31

I was on that one as well

Inside it was destination Howth, next Bray, outside it was destination Bray, next Sutton. Back was Bray

And we was going to Malahide

Maynooth train 25 July

Was on a Maynooth train that leaves from Connolly round 6pm, driver made correct announcement that the train would stop at all stations to Maynooth but the electronic voice said after leaving Drumcrondra that the next station that the train would stop at was Castleknock (so did the electronic display).

Got a scare as I get off at Broombridge, the train stopped there anyway
