Irish trains other than Enterprise sets don't have the required safety equipment to operate on the NI network.

all the fun at the moment seems to be with the coastal areas, I'd say there are some views along the DART line at the moment

although it wouldnt surprise me if the front moves inland.

Could be a long night for Dublin ! :D

For those relying on buses, traffic is very slow between leeson street and stephen's green, it's almost at a standstill. Once you get to college green and the quays it's moving, albeit very slowly. A lot of buses stuck around stephens green in traffic.

Trains seem to be operating fine out of hueston

Presently 40 min delays to Northern suburban trains to Drogheda...
Nothing in the IE travel alerts or on their twitter....

Trampas 20-12-2010 20:22

went to get the 1542 Lansdowne to Malahide (1500 Greystones to Malahide)

just before i left work everything running fine. Around 3.30

As getting to the station barriers go down and me thinking that is great dart on time. next thing a dart flies through northbound (out of service on it) and the next dart not due till 1555 which said it was the (1500 Greystones to Malahide)

No announcement on delays.

Therefore I was left standing around for over a half an hour to get any kind of train to maynooth.

The arklow train pulled into Pearse just before 16.30 only around 20 mins late. They blamed the weather
